Maintenance Technician (M/F/X)

Together with a close-knit team of colleagues, you will work in Axel.

Which tasks will you perform?

• Troubleshooting malfunctions in (parts of) the installations based on notifications received from production, so that work can be safely resumed and downtime is kept to a minimum.
• Locating faults and their root causes and carrying out emergency repairs.
• Performing periodic inspections of (parts of) electrical and utility installations, so that unsafe situations are recognized in time and corrective actions can be taken.
• Assessing the state of maintenance and performing corrective maintenance.
• Keeping the electrical instrumentation and control sections of all installations, as well as process automation (PLC systems), in good working order by performing maintenance and repairs.
• Recording maintenance in Accruent.
• Performing preparatory and execution work for modification, expansion, overhaul, and new-build activities, such as installing/connecting cable networks, control cabinets, electric motors, etc., in accordance with the specifications stated in the work orders.
• Ensuring that all activities comply with applicable safety and quality regulations.
• Being hands-on and making optimal use of time.
• Providing support and contributing to the organization’s sustainable business values.

Who are we looking for?

• At least an MBO level 3 education (or equivalent through experience), preferably in a technical field (e.g., electrical engineering).
• Familiar with NEN 1010.
• Knowledge of Dutch (and English); knowledge of other languages is a plus.
• Works smoothly with colleagues, shares knowledge and experience.
• Has a strong grasp of electrical/mechanical and automation principles to perform maintenance tasks.
• Can quickly and accurately analyze and implement solutions for faults so that machines and installations are quickly back to optimal operation.
• Preferably takes initiative and is proactive, works well independently and needs little direction to perform maintenance tasks.
• Has a flexible mindset and is decisive, able to deal quickly and effectively with unexpected circumstances or setbacks.
• Safety and quality awareness, and a results-oriented approach are personal drivers.
• Willingness to travel between the different sites depending on the necessity of interventions.

Practical information

• Your place of work: Langeweg 1, 4571 RL Axel.
• Full-time assignment: from Monday to Friday.
• Working in a two- or three-shift system.
• One-year contract with, by mutual agreement, the possibility to convert this to a permanent contract.
