Process Operator Stacker (M/F/X)

Together with a close-knit team of colleagues, you will work in Zulte.

What tasks will you perform?

• Responsible for proper, neat, and attractive stacking of the final product.
• Ensures smooth stacking with as little downtime as possible.
• Ensures maximum efficiency on their machine without compromising safety and quality.
• Placing stabilizing slats so that the final packaging for the customer is correct.
• Clearly reports and records non-conformities on the notification-quality sheet.
• Keeping the workstation tidy and clean.
• Operating the strapping machine and providing supports.
• Correctly executing production orders according to product specifications and quality requirements, according to agreements within the ISO quality system.
• Resolving minor malfunctions to avoid downtime in consultation with the stacker machine operator.
• Cleaning up, cleaning, and maintaining the production machines and production environment.
• Cleaning up broken slats and throwing them in the crusher.
• Stacking packs of wood and providing spacers.
• Quality control of boards and sorting out those that do not meet the requirements.
• Setting up and operating the stacking program and planer.
• Checking the dimensions of the sawn wood and the packaging.
• Providing and assigning labels to the packs of sawn wood.

Who are we looking for?

• Experience in a production environment is an asset.
• Experience with setting up the touchscreen machine is an asset.
• You have knowledge of Dutch. Knowledge of French is a plus.
• Ideally, you have knowledge of the production process and the technical operation of machines.
• You anticipate unplanned downtime and product changes.
• You are independent, quality-oriented, precise, reliable, and motivated.
• You are a true team player.
• You are flexible, accurate, and punctual.
• You are stress-resistant, assertive, and have strong communication skills.
• You highly value safety and ensure a clean working environment.
