Sawmill Process Operator (M/F/X)

Together with a close-knit team of colleagues, you will work in Zulte.

What tasks will you perform?

• Setting up and starting the saw line according to the required specifications.
• Monitoring the entire sawing process and following up on product quality.
• Identifying, reporting, and correcting deviations in the process.
• Actively monitoring the operation of the saw line and intervening promptly in the event of malfunctions.
• Controlling automated processes from the control room.
• Recording production data, downtimes and their causes.
• Troubleshooting malfunctions and performing minor technical repairs.
• Replacing saws and milling knives according to maintenance procedures.
• Working in accordance with applicable safety instructions and quality standards.
• Ensuring order, cleanliness, and safety on the shop floor.
• Acting as a point of contact for fellow line operators.

Who are we looking for?

• You speak fluent Dutch and/or French.
• You have knowledge of or experience with operating automated processes.
• You work accurately, are quality-focused, and have a strong sense of responsibility.
• You are resilient under pressure, flexible, and solution-oriented.
• Experience with setting up saws, milling machines, and planers is a big plus!

• Day shift (38 hours/week):
  • Mon to Thu: 6:00–10:00 & 10:30–14:30
  • Fri: 6:00–10:00 & 10:30–12:30
