Team Leader (M/F/X)

PGS Group has been active in the wood packaging industry for 30 years. Due to further expansion we are looking for a: Team Leader.

Which tasks will you perform?

• Ensure operational areas are executed according to plans, meeting required quality standards and customer expectations.
• Supervise a team of operatives and agency staff on a daily basis.
• Conduct daily quality audits on pallets to ensure compliance with LPR specifications.
• Lead by example to foster a culture of mutual respect among team members.
• Maintain effective communication within the management team.
• Engage all staff in the success of the operation through ongoing feedback and positive communication.
• Ensure that operational procedures and company standards are consistently followed.
• Ensure full compliance with statutory and company Health and Safety requirements.
• Escalate issues that exceed your level of authority promptly and appropriately.
• Act in line with the Company Values in all tasks and responsibilities.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the business.
• Participate in training and development activities aligned with personal growth and business needs.

Who are we looking for?

• You have a previous experience of working in a manual production environment.
• You have experience in team leadership.
• You are fluent in Portuguese; knowledge of English and other foreign languages is a strong asset.
• You can drive a forklift smoothly and have a certificate.
• You ensure compliance with the PGS Code of Conduct, applicable standards, and legislation.
• You work accurately and have a keen eye for detail.
• You have a strong affinity for numbers and possess basic literacy skills.
• You are structured and proactive.
